About
I am Doug Heimbecker and I am both a web designer and a web developer. I enjoy creating graphics, designing layouts, editing CSS/XHTML, as well as programming websites to work. I have been doing this ever since I was a kid, but up until recently did I realize that this is what I wanted to focus on as a career. I will be taking online classes at University of Phoenix to get a Bachelor’s of Science in Web Development. I look forward to learning new web technologies and gaining even more experience in the field. Simply put, I love making websites–even on my own free time. It would be ideal for me to find a job as a web developer and while accepting freelance opportunities. I also come up with my own ideas for websites to put to work. I aspire to run my own business and work with people who have the same like-minded interests.
Philosophy
I believe in both designing and developing web projects. I have decided to follow both paths as I believe any future web developer would. While many enjoy doing only half the tasks at hand, I prefer the entire challenge. I like to take credit for my work, but at the same time, I do not mind sharing my success.
